June 2020 Update
Website Update June 10th, 2020
We are happy to announce the re-opening of our office for regular dental care as of June 8th.
The health and safety of our clients and our team is extremely important. We have implemented new office protocols in accordance with the new BC Provincial Guidelines. Every person entering our office should be aware of the new pre-screening Questions that will be asked regarding:
- Symptoms – fever, cough, sneezing, runny nose, headache, chills, shortness of breath, muscle aches, loss of sense of taste and smell.
- Travel outside of Canada within 14 days or within Canada to an area of COVID outbreak
- Contact with a COVID-19 positive or suspected positive person within 14 days.
If the answer is Yes, we ask you to call to cancel or reschedule your appointment. In addition everyone will be required to use a hand sanitizer as they enter the office, have their temperature taken, and maintain social distancing.
A COVID-19 consent form will need to be completed prior to dental treatment and an antiviral rinse is used before treatment. In addition to our usual sterilization and infection control procedures we have installed high quality Hepa air filtration units in each treatment area and every exposed surface will be sanitized between clients. Face masks are available for client use.
Dr Bennett and clinical team members will be using N95 masks, face shields and protective clothing during certain aerosol generating procedures and clear vinyl screening may be used as well.
We look forward to seeing our existing clients as well as those new to our practice and appreciate your understanding and compliance with the new protocols for everyone’s safety and health.
